|
My name is Simon and I am a DJ and director of the AC Roadshow.. I found this website searching for references to the AC Roadshow with the YFC. The google search came back with a result.. your poem.. an awesome read and thanks for the mention!
Talking of mentions, I am here, (thanks to your webmaster, Robert for letting me on.. I am honored!) to promote the unofficial chat forum for the convention weekend in Blackpool. We ran one for the 2004 AGM and was a little bit successful... 60+ members.. we are aiming bigger this year as it is being promoted in a NFYFC publication this next week.
The aim of the forum is for new and old convention goers to join in and share your stories and generally rev up for the best weekend in the diary (especially for us). The forum also gives you first hand opportunity to get your requests and shout outs direct to us as we don't normally take them over the weekend due to the scale of the event.
We have some massive screens being used either side of the stage that will be hooked up to just about anything we can get our hands on. If you want to send pictures, messages, anything! Then the forum will be the place to get our attention.
The place looks a bit lonely at the moment - but I have been assured by the national yf technical guy that it WILL get busier. Well I am doing my bit too.. so come and join us and have a laugh!
Lads.. we already have a Essex girl on the forum.. quite funny.
Ladies.. there is.. erm, me .. with my blue hair!
Anyway.. less of the chat now, I will be happy to answer ANY of your questions here or on the Chat forum.
The important bit... click HERE to link to the forum.
~Thanks for listening.. and also thank you for letting me have special access to your online community!
Simon

Expect half of them are still stuck in the Isle of Man feeling a bit ill with the choppy waters.
I am sure they'll be back soon in England and to the forum I know they cannot resist my charms for long. Uniquely we are currently the only Young Farmers' Club that can boast having a retired former Secret Agent from Sweden (licence to kill, etc.) as a forum member.
Welcome aboard Si I cannot guarantee any responses but at least they will read this message. _________________ };-) http://www.xhtmlcoder.com/ |
